I'm searching for new hobbies to begin and building bots came to my attention. I have literally zero experience with building them, no wiring, no printing, no soldering nothing but I'm interested in all of them.

My question is what's the cheapest way I can try to build a bot? I looked into kits and I'm considering them but I feel like $200 is a lot to just test out a hobby and also not really in the spirit of it. I want to build my own bot not somebody else's.

I'll probably build an ant bot by following some guide but I'm open to anything.
