My one-year-old son found an object which I am guessing is a Durex Pleasure Ring on a hotel floor and potentially put it in his mouth for a quick second before we stepped in and took it away from him. It appeared to be dry when found.

Actions taken so far:
Washed his face and mouth thoroughly with soap and water.

Spoke to a RN virtual call and not much they could tell us.

Questions:

1.What is the actual risk of STI transmission (HIV, Hepatitis, etc.) from a dry object found on a floor?

2.What specific physical symptoms should I monitor for over the next few days?

3.Should we request blood tests now, or is there a specific window we should wait for?
