Hello all,
I've recently inherited my grandparents home (western NY) 1840s farmhouse. Back then, it was a school house and didn't have indoor plumbing. This is an octagon outhouse. It had 6 children seats and 2 adult seats within it. Today, it's a beautiful tool shed.
I've always sat back not wanting to damage the foundation or pull a floor board or two. I can only imagine the pocket change lost along the way.
Also, the land itself amongst the house and fields have been thoroughly detected. Found quite a few half dollars and horse pill glass bottles along the way.
If you're a detectorist, then you probably love history. Thought it would fit here.
If I decide to pull the floor boards up, I'll be sure to update my post. Cheers!
