Lethal injection is an emasculating way to be killed via capital punishment
If I were to be executed by the state I would find lethal injection to be an emasculating way to die. Just sitting in a chair and be put to sleep. No thank you. Firing squad is the only dignified method for me.
I feel the convicted should be able to select any method of execution they want as long as it is likely to be quick and lethal.
For instance, only Idaho, Mississippi, Oklahoma, South Carolina, and Utah allow firing squads. As far as I am concerned those are the only state I could be executed with dignity.
We should allow the convicted to choose guillotine, firing squad, hanging, thrown off a tall building, burns at the stake, or any other method of their choice. Obviously, their crimes were heinous but I feel all are entitled to dignity in death.
In short, those on death row should be allowed to die with dignity by choosing the method they feel is right for them.
