Does anyone know how to get the Oculus Rift CV1 working?
I have an Oculus Rift CV1 that I've had for a few years now, and now that I have switched to Linux I can't seem to get it working despite following a few guides. I tried installing Monado, OpenHMD, and Envision, but none of them anything at all. Linux did detect the headset and the cameras when I used lsusb, but that was about it. Almost all of the guides I have found date several years back and are obviously not current enough to matter (I tried them and was not able to get it working). Just so you know, I am not a developer, I just want to use this headset with SteamVR, and maybe try Vivecraft at some point. I also am not particularly experienced in Linux, and Linux Mint has posed no problems to me other than this so I really haven't had to troubleshoot or use any commads before. Any help or advice would be appreciated, as I cannot afford a Vive or Index to get a properly working headset.
