We are building a house that could be forever or could be for the next 10-15 years. We have a 2 year old and are currently pregnant with #2. We will likely have #3 while we are in this house. Wanting to make sure we do everything right so that if it is forever, we will be happy!

1.) we’re trying to cut down on square footage. Currently downstairs just has the owners suite and the guest suite (along with other common areas) and is currently at 3,000 sq ft. We still have to do 3 bedrooms upstairs! Where would you cut unnecessary square footage?

2.) how can we combine the laundry room and the butlers pantry so that our laundry has a big sink as well as some appliances. Functionality is most important to me.
