Hi everyone! I’m based in Mexico and I’m about to start my tourist visa application. I’m concerned about the passport request stage. Once the consulate asks for the passport, is there a mandatory deadline for shipping it, or is there some flexibility to send it a few days (or weeks) later? I have an international trip scheduled from June 22 to June 30, so I want to make sure I don't run into any logistical issues while I'm out of the country. Any help or personal experiences would be appreciated!
