I’m leaving my school district after this school year is over this June and I have a bunch of unused sick time that is use it or lose it. I feel badly taking half days, but I’m making sure to teach all of my classes and then use the sick time which I can only use in four hour intervals for half days. I feel a little guilty, but I do not want to lose that time and the district refused to pay out the unused time.
