Hi all,

I'm due to travel central Asia in the summer through to winter (Kazakh, Kyrgyz, Tajik, Uzbek and Mongolia) as well as china.

The main activity in all places will be hiking.

I'm torn between a pair of trail runners with ventilation or with a goretex lining, the temperatures will be very hot in Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan, however the winter months in china will be very wet.

Looking for any input before I purchase a new pair, many thanks in advance 🙏
