I recently submitted a claim for sleep apnea, while on active duty i only received medication for sleep but no sleep study was done, on my initial submission while separating the VSO told me he couldn't file for sleep apnea due to not having a sleep study. Once i separated from active duty the VA conducted a sleep study and was diagnosed with sleep apnea and given a CPAP machine within one year of separating from active duty.

My question is can it still be service connected since i got diagnosed within a year of leaving active duty?
