Today I just got offered a sourdough starter and as much as I love baking, I've never baked bread of any sort. How do I maintain this starter? What are the basics? Any help is much appreciated.
If it's hard to read, the sticky note on front says the following:
650g Water
250g Starter
1000g Flour
20g Salt
(I assume this is the make up of the starter)
