Things you miss in TOTK

Now that the time has passed, mods, the game has been completed by several millions of people, Nintendo made a shish kebab out of money of it and they keep publishing remakes and charging for it, what would be the things you miss in the game? What would you do to make it even better? Did you miss something?

Game secrets

I’m playing at my own pace but given the fact the game is humongous considering the map, do you think it’s all discovered? I doubt everything is. They are still doing discoveries in gta 5 and rdr2 and im sure there are still many things that nobody but the devs know. As an engineer myself and considering how big the game is, I see so many options that they could have introduced, secret things, etc that it would almost be impossible to find it all. Not sure if they will disclose all of the secrets but I’m sure there are still out there dozens if not hundreds of them. Pity we cannot see the source code to get them all 😂. Maybe one day Nintendo will make it open source and we will be able to see all the things the game is hiding as I’m sure it’s a lot out there. I was just wondering your thoughts. Thank you for reading!

I love the game but….

I love the game, I won’t lie, for someone who stopped playing Zelda when I finished ocarina of time in the n64 I didn’t try any other Zelda games since then. Life caught up with me: work, work, adulthood and also work…. And then children and marriage. I bought the game following all the hype around it and yes I love it but…. Sometimes when I have a bit of time to play I feel myself not doing what to do. Let me explain: the missions are vaguely explained , you change of context all the time, hundreds of combinations of things that I don’t understand ( the jelly, the this the that… no idea). Every time I play it’s true I discovered new things. I don’t check spoilers as it pisses me off someone solving the problem for me, I love to do it myself. However I feel myself not knowing what to do or which mission to take. I remember the one of “find the guy in the depths” and after having played long hours, go over the depths and unlock most of the light roots I didn’t find the guy…. It’s this kind of things that put me off a bit with the game. The controls sometimes are clunky and recently I started to play again as I left it aside and it took me time to re learn how to play. Anyway, it’s just a thought that the game is great yes but it can become nonsense or have no context of what to do next or get to know things as what the heck does the jelly… maybe it’s me, it can be too that I’m dumb but it’s sometimes too much and you get lost in translation.
