RAM Usage Background Process Conflict
I made a post here a couple months ago about my RAM usage spiking in SolidWorks. Basically it climbs from the moment I open it until SolidWorks eventually crashes after a few minutes. I resolved this and thought the resolution was in doing a repair on my install of SW, but I was messing with a lot of stuff at once, and as it turns out, that wasn't the cause.
I was able to isolate the cause to whether or not I have NordVPN background processes running. This sounds crazy to me as I know little about computers and I'm not sure how I even managed to isolate this cause, but I was wondering if anyone has anyone insight on why this is happening. Is it some sort of driver conflict? And how can I resolve it so that SolidWorks runs while I can still use my VPN?
