What happened to 90 percent of games being same tier or only a difference of 1 tier?

Most of my games are plus 1 and plus 2 with me at bottom tier. I can’t recall a single game where I seen a tank 2 tiers below me.

I remember like a month ago this wasn’t the case so what happened ? Anyone know or just thoughts?
