Help a newbie decide!
Greetings, fellow SWTOR enjoyers! SWTOR is my first MMO (Destiny 2 doesn't count, RIP that game), and I'm looking to play as a single player story game, doing the class stories and later on perhaps the expansions too.
Being boring, I started with jedi knight, and been thoroughly enjoying the story so far, feels like the Star Wars gaming my nostalgia needed.
But I'm having a hard time deciding between watchman sentinel and serenity shadow. I love DOTs, I love dual blade sabres and also dual wielding, so I've rolled 2 characters to try out both.
Which combat style would you suggest for that jedi power fantasy during the character story? Smashing things with merciless strikes on sentinel is nice, whereas squelch doesn't have the same oomph or burst (I appreciate neither style is supposed to be burst damage, but in story content it doesnt matter that much I believe?), but perhaps when I get destruction ray it'll feel better? On the other hand, the AoE damage of serenity is very satisfying! I just can't decide... Please help sell me on one or the other!
