Sink Reseting Prep Questions
Good evening y’all. I’m having some countertop contractors come by my house to reset an undermounted sink. They said they can disconnect whatever’s needing to be disconnected, although they also said they don’t like to, but they’re not insured to reconnect the plumbing after the sink is reset.
To skip to the point, where in the plumbing would I need to disconnect to make the countertop guys’ job easier, while still keeping my job reconnecting everything back up manageable after they’ve finished up? Additionally, what tools and supplies would I need to ensure that whatever work I perform won’t leak after reassembly?
For additional information, I received one quote from a plumber who happened to be at a neighbor’s house on Wednesday, and they rough ballparked the job to be about $700 USD. At a quick glance and respectfully, I don’t see that number making sense, so if I’m wrong please educate me. Thank you in advance!
