Did anyone know our ancestors invented the first anchor and not just trouser belt?

I personally wouldn't guess so since naval craftsmanship doesn't come to mind right away when thinking of our people and their achievements. Just wanted to share this interesting find in case it is novel to someone other than myself

I'm talking about a specific type of raising funds that has gained popularity in Kazakhstan and maybe adjacent countries recently. People with no terminal or chronic illnesses, no particular dire need and immediate threats to their survival and while having all relatively similar amount of opportunities to earn money to sustain living as others, plead for your dime. As in "if 100 000 people donate 100tg I'd be able to close off credit debt" or "buy house for mom" etc. Those are few cases and they aren't concerningly numerous but I think the trend exists. It hints at deeper societal problems, of people's attitudes to finances, quick hustling, disbelief in authorities, job market, even themselves.
