How can I tell if these might be fossilized bone or petrified wood?

Not a rockhounder (yet?) but did some jeeping in the middle of nowhere north and west of Moab UT and found some interesting “rocks”. Do any stand out as bone/wood? If it helps, #1 smells weird when it’s wet, like a dirty terracotta pot that previously held potpourri…
