Just beaten DS3 as a first time souls player. My thoughts

I was new to souls games until recently, where I decided to give DS3 a proper try after only messing with it for a few hours many years ago. I went with the classic Knight STR/Vigor build with a +10 heavy longsword.

I was able to beat these bosses first try:

- Greatwood

- Crystal Sage

- Consumed King

- Ancient Wyvern (if that counts since it's a single attack)

I was able to beat these bosses after a few tries:

- Iudex

- Champion

- Yhorm

- Deacons

- Wolnir

- Dancer

- Abyss Watchers

I was able to beat these bosses after several tries:

- Vordt

- Aldrich

- Dragonslayer Armour

- Pontiff

I was able to beat these bosses after many tries:

- Twin Princes

- Soul of Cinder

I tried (and failed) at Namesless King

Nameless King was a complete bullsh*t fight, you are fighting more of the camera than the enemy, and NK has a ton of delayed nonsense.

Out of all the bosses I beat, I found Twin Princes by far the worst boss, I struggled a lot with the teleports and trying to dodge all the projectiles flying around. When fighting SoC, I couldn't figure out how to dodge the attack where he throws the lightning in the sky and I absolutely hated when he switched to the Scimitar, so I tried to survive till he switched to something else.

Overall, I really enjoyed the atmosphere (especially Irithyll, it was a beautiful area), but I despised navigating the Catacombs and the Poison Swamp. After playing one properly, I can see why people love these games, and also why people despise them :)
