K7 750 exhaust header bolts

Hey everyone - I've got a K7 750 trying to remove the bolts for the header, got 1 out, 1 snapped the head and the last 6 are all rounded out.

Anyone got any tips to getting them out now? I've got an extractor kit arriving tomorrow along with a blow torch and praying that works

Hello,

So I’ve just replaced me Stator and rectifier for my K7 gsxr.

Now I also had my battery on charge as in Monday I broke down due to no battery power.

Now I’ve put everything back the bike starts with no issue but the battery is at 17-18v….. I had it running for maybe 5 mins and the rectifier was piping hot.

So I’m guessing it’s todo with the plug to the wiring harness, I did notice one of the pins had backed out.

How should I proceed? I saw people online say they solder the wires from the harness to the rectifier with 12 gauge wire, but I don’t want todo that if that isn’t going to fix the issue.

Thanks for any advice

Hello,

So yesterday I washed my bike and then left it over night without riding it. This morning I went to ride to work and the bike started up normally with no issues.

So after about 30 mins of riding I was in town and some kid asked me to rev so I did a little blip and then the bike cut out and wouldn’t start back up right away - pulled over and took the key out and back in and then it started up.

I ride for another 10 mins and pull into a petrol station and again it just cuts out.

Started the bike up again and went perfectly like usual now when I went around a small round about it did seem to try to cut out again but then was fine.

I’m at work now so will let it cool off and then see if it’s still damp under the seat and look at the wiring but has anyone run into the before? The bike sounds fine while it’s running no odd noises or miss fires or any major struggle to start other than when it first cut out.

Thanks for any advice
