Photo on the left was about 2 years before the start of my transition, waited u till last year to do HRT and im so happy i did never been more sure of who i am!
So about 2–3 weeks ago, I moved my palm from a spot where it only received around 3–4 hours of sunlight per day to the front of my apartment, where it now gets about 8–10 hours of direct sun. Since then, it doesn’t seem to be adjusting very well.
The spear is still growing and has started to separate, which seems like a good sign, but the two oldest fronds are beginning to burn. I always thought fan palms loved full sun, so I’m confused about why it’s struggling with the increased light.
I’ve had this palm for about six months now, and it’s been a bit of a challenge the entire time. I really want it to do well, but it seems like it’s having a hard time adapting. Does anyone have any tips or suggestions on what I can do to help it recover and thrive?
