4 Wins away from GRANDMASTER and I picked Katarina... Here is how it went!

Hey everyone,

I was sitting at 4 wins away from hitting Grandmaster and the pressure was unreal. Instead of playing it safe, I decided to trust my mechanics and locked in Katarina for the final push.

Managed to win all 4 games in a row to officially rank up! 🚀⚔️

I made a quick edit of the best outplays, high-damage team fights, and the final promotion screen from these last 4 matches. Would love to hear your thoughts on the clips and the daggers management!

P.S. Yes, climbing Solo Queue as a mid laner is a mental test, but it was worth it.

Lane phase was pretty rough against this Darius, but patience pays off. They overextended under tower and paid the price.

Never safe to dive a high-elo Yone.

Flashed on a minion for Level 2 Power Spike to outplay a Level 1 Volibear

This Volibear really thought he could just cheese me in the bush at level 1. Instead of flashing away like most people would against a Voli, I decided to use 100% of my brain cells as Yasuo. I flashed onto the minion to secure the last hit for Level 2, instantly unlocked my next ability to turn the fight, and clutched it out on literally 1 HP. The game even hit me with that "Clutch" overlay.

Is it just me, or is Katarina actually the hardest, most high-IQ champion in the game?

Alright guys, hear me out. I’m so sick of people saying Katarina is a "no-skill, faceroll" champion. I just hit Emerald IV after 800 games, and the micro required to play her on mobile is insane.
Do you guys have any idea how much physical effort it takes to violently slam your forehead onto your phone screen at a precise 45-degree angle to get a pentakill? My neck genuinely hurts after a session.
Sometimes I accidentally drop my phone on my face while playing in bed, and by the time I wipe the smudge off my screen, the game announcer says "PENTAKILL" and my teammates are already spamming the "Group" and "Push" buttons because the enemy team is furiously hitting the surrender vote. If that isn't peak tactical positioning, I don't know what is.
Like, it takes a lot of mental power to track which part of my palm is hitting E and which part is hitting R while I blindfold myself and aggressively swipe across my glass protector.
Honestly, Riot needs to buff her. Her ultimate should automatically flash her mastery emote over the corpses of the enemy bot lane, because right now, carrying you casuals by mashing random buttons is exhausting.
