End of an Era
My SOTD for the past 8 years. Gentleman Jon starter kit w/ Russian Astra Greens and Proraso Red soap and aftershave.
Recently purchased a Merkur 34G as an upgrade w/ a blade sampler (Indian made Astra Green, Feather, Nacet, Perma-Sharp, Iridium Super, and Bic Super Platinum)
I have been getting used to the Merkur with previously purchased Russian Astra Greens before moving to the others. It’s less aggressive, but I get a closer shave without having to pay as much attention to technique. I believe due to the increased weight of the Merkur.
