Watching Scream 7 Tonight. 🍿
I'm sure I'll be disappointed, but I bet this isn't the worst movie I'll watch this year. Have you seen this movie? What am I in for?

I always thought this one had a dreamy look and Robin Williams pouring so much heart into it. He really gave everything in this role. Feels good to revisit it.

Have you seen this movie, and what are you watching tonight?

I can't honestly say that I've seen this movie. I watched the trailer, and it looks like Disclosure Day. This lionsgate Limited Release has Dolby Vision and a Dolby Atmos audio upgrade, so this should be interesting. I think Lionsgate have turned things around, especially with their Collector Series. Pretty much everything that they've released so far on this label has looked great and sounded superb.

It's Saturday Night. What are you watching?
I believe the old DVD cut had some unsavory action between Stinky Pete and 3 Barbie Babes. But this is 2026 and we can no longer have fun.

Let's check it out and see. 🍿
Toy Story is so old that it was released on LaserDisc with 5.1 AC3 audio. It even got a THX DTS Digital Surround remaster. This thing has lived on every format. VHS. DVD. Blu‑ray. And now 4K Ultra HD Blu‑ray. It’s covered the whole history of Physical Media.

My favorite will always be the LaserDisc. The size. The Gatefold sleeves. The Vinyl‑like presentation. It just felt like a real collector’s format. Then DVD came along and changed everything. It gave us great movies and gave indie filmmakers a way to survive. You could bomb in theaters and still make all your money back on DVD.

Now we have 4K Blu‑ray and I think this is the end game. Picture. Sound. Everything finally feels right.

I have so many memories of watching this movie when it came out, and the formats it lived on. What are your favorite memories of Toy Story?
Watching Close Encounters of the Third Kind Tonight from Director Steven Spielberg.

I'm watching The Theatrical Cut tonight. Is that the best version. I'm hearing mixed thoughts on the Special Edition and the Directors cut.
