What made y'all realise OG Power had the...THE SHIT to make it Work?

As the title is asking, this is my question to y'all!

Honestly for me, it might be stupid but I knew OG Power was gon be top tier from episode one when he told Kantos "Fuck yo VIPs, we gon redefine the word" during the Truth grand opening. I knew from that moment OG Power was gon be bomb and Ghost was gon be a problem, "chess not checkers" head ahhh.

What made it for y'all!?

Courtney "daddy issues" Kemp was really BORED making Nemesis

This series looks like an upgraded Tyler Perry movie but still bad tho. I saw some of your threads on here before watching myself and y'all ain't lied!

Mind you, so far in these series we've seen:

  1. Cooper Saxe from OG Power and Book II

  2. Steven Ott from the DNC party in Book II

  3. Benny Civelo (Proctor's Cousin) from OG Power

  4. Lindsey Proctor (OG Power, Joseph Proctor's ex)

Who the fuck else she gonna recycle from the Power Universe in this shit???

And lastly... IM SORRY BUT THIS IS NOW THE SECOND SERIES SHE PRODUCED AND GUESS WHAT? ANOTHER HERBERT TRIBUTE AT THE END OF THE FIRST EPISODE !!!! Look... Courtney, IF EVERY TIME YOU GON CREATE A SERIES SOMEBODY OF YO PEEPS DIES, MAYBE YOU SHOULD TAKE SOME TIME OFF SIS🫥

Anyways, I'm out. Nemesis is not it but for the sake of having nothing else to watch, I'm gon see it through and finish this season.

Remember when Sikora (aka Tommy) did this dumb Shit?

I remember Thomas' actor Joseph Sikora posting this on IG.... then out comes the episode and surprise... no damn mention at all in any capacity of even Ghost💀

Now, don't get me wrong, I prefer Thomas more than Ghost, but come on Joseph.... this was very VERY VERY stupid🥲 I knew from there it was only gonna go downhill for Book IV..... except the very last season.

Anyways, Book IV had felt from the start like they been rushing the series. Bro barely set foot in Chicago and already shaking shit like a damn tornado and gets to meet the main players already from jump🫥

Producers ran faster than Usain and Sha'carri with Book IV lol.

The nerve.... THE AUDACITY of This Woman!!!

Listen Power fam, I ain't gonna act like I ever liked Saxe, but boy how was he done so dirty!!! Stay with me.

Remember when Genevieve* and Saxe were both on opposing team how their dynamic was? Pleasant, teasing, fun... and yes, sexual. They were both literally on the same level and were doing pretty much good.

BUT BOY OH BOY as soon as this dumb ass Saxe kind of surrendered to her by acting as a C.I. to take "the bad guys down from inside out" it's like he put a leash around his neck and gave it to Genevieve* to hold:

  1. She started to boss him around

  2. Everything became transactional

  3. Fake apologies and backpedals/threatens once he didnt take a stupid simple "sorry" for an answer

  4. Literally left him to die with as last words "Fuck you, Saxe" from her mouth

  5. Dares to cry when he actually died😐... BITCH YOU CAUSED IT.

She such a f…… hypocrite, with her damn first and last piece of bread face ahhh

I hate her so much I'm calling her by her government name, you know, like when you're angry at someone and call them by their full name.

Considering Power: Legacy, we havent heard the last of her so I hope she catches a hot one for sure.

(*Genevieve = Jenny. as mentioned by Davis)

When Ghost realized He HAD TO drop NaTasha out off the Will📜

If there was ever a time when it hit Ghost to drop chickenhead completely out the will, it surely was at this very moment.

Loving only the drug dealer side of you is one thing, but not loving you at all anymore is a whole different story. At this point she just wanted him "alive" because oBviOuSLy he's the father of her kids..... Although ultimately she wanted him dead😐

It's crazy how surprised she acted when she found out after his death that she got completely scrapped out the will... WHAT THE FUCK DID SHE EXPECT? Like Kanan wouldve said "No money never stopped you from making money before"....

One of OG Power's Coldest Death Scenes

It always gets to me how Gregory's lights were turned off.

Bro stuck his hand out but literally DROPPED dead with a quickness after

that shot. I don't know if I wanna laugh or be shocked every time I see this.

Mike capped him without breaking a sweat like a pro, he barely even moved when he threw that first shot to the neck....

Gregory got Kirk'd then murked🥲 (sorry Erika I had to throw that last line in here)

What's yall most shocking death scene in the Power Universe?

Kanan BEEN TOLD US about Marvin's faith in OG POWER!😦💡

Fellas... As I am rewatching OG Power for the 1000th time, this scene just hit me as I've been thinking as well about rewatching Book III too (again).

Guys, although all of us probably already know Marvin's dying in Book III's upcoming season 5, I wholeheartedly think it was already confirmed in OG Power in this scene right here.

Remember when that dusty musty crackhead looking chick spoke with Kanan in DC trying to get him to say what happened to him so she could inform Jukebox about it? Well I seriously think Kanan almost slipped and told her about Marvin.

He said "She (Juke) owes me, I was there for her when her daddy.............. kicked her out for the way she is (lesbian)" PAUSE. FIRST OF ALL:

  1. Why the long break in his answer just to say "kicked her out for the way she is"? By the time of OG sexuality isn't that taboo nomo so he could tell her dusty ass was messing with Juke. (Him asking afterwards if she Juke's gf is only because her stank ass was all over his D)

  2. Marvin didn't kick Juke out, he beat her ass bad and Juke decided to bounce on her own will

  3. According to that scene right here, the timeline of Juke apparently "owing" Kanan for being there for her would’ve been of events that happened in RK season 1, this would make no sense because as y'all know Marv dies in season 5 of RK.... so why would Kanan in OG mention a "favor" from RK season 1 happenings and not more likely from season 5? YUP.

You can literally tell he was gon say " She owes me, I was there for her when her daddy died". And the way he said it with Juke "owing him" makes one thing clear to me as well, in RK S5 Juke will obviously avenge Marvin BUT it'll be Kanan who will find out who did it and tell her bout it. He'll probably be there or she gonna hit him with the "I owe you but this is my battle" type shit.

What y'all think ? Y'all noticed too in that scene ?!

The very first time Thomas called Ghost the N word but with a hard R

I know my fellow blacks will get my title joke the quickest😆 I mean it's already hard enough so we might as well laugh about it.

Thomas reminded Ghost his pops mistook milk with alcohol this why he wasnt shit... well, not "shit" but "drunk" really. At least he tried to get Ghost not to lead a life of crime.

If anything it's a St Patrick family reunion so good for Ghost he gets to introduce Angela Katherina Valdes to his dad (if dad's in Power hell too) lmao.

Moms been playing "Casper" before "Ghost" could even say "dada" so we'll leave her outta this very topic, although...well🥸 yeah.

Now, back to the title. The second and only other time Thomas called Ghost "nigga" by clear words was after off'ing Labubu (Lobos) when they were in that hangar changing clothes like they just f— anyways let me stop here that's enough😬

As y'all know basically in the Power franchise, the characters are all awful fucking liars who could swear on their relatives grave or life just to sound believable in the moment for their own benefits.

Well... we got a couple of them who haven't lied NOT ONCE, and by that I mean everything that came out of their mouth was straight truth. No sugercoat, not no whatever else... just TRUTH (pun intended🤓).

The order of this list goes as the characters are seen chronologically in the series for the first time.

1st we have: Estelle Green, she's my all time favorite woman in the entire Power franchise, if chickenhead had listen to her since start then the family wouldve been not "fine" but waaay better than we saw.... but I think Ghost wouldve still cheated at least once but only because it's...."Angela Katherina Valdez" from the block, obviously. (yup Angie's middle name is Katherina, as seen on her tombstone)

2nd we have: Paz Valdez, she ain't told one lie as well since start to finish, from when she spoke with Angela up until when she wore the wire to trap Ghost although it was to catch him slipping or get Angie's real killer name. I really pitty this woman cause throughout the series all she wanted was dick and all she got was family headache and funerals😪 Poor Paz...💔

3rd we have: Vanessa Coleman, she my least favorite tbh... Feels a bit too close to home I ain't gon lie so I might be too biased on her so I won't elaborate on her f— anyways although she turned out to be right about Andre she the reason I actually feel bad for Andre.

As far as I can tell.... any other characters (female and male) were pathological liars who were prolly suffering from the Adam and Eve syndrome (= blaming the other but themselves)😑

Any objections to my statement ? Who (else?) y'al got maybe?!
