It's been a few hours since I made my initial update post. I have decided what is to be done about moderation.
We will be holding moderator applications starting June 25, 12AM EST, and we will take no further submissions at June 27, 12AM EST.
To apply, please leave a message in our Mod Mail with your application.
Note, if you send us an application before or after this deadline, you will not be considered for moderator.
Requirements:
- Must have at least 50 contributions in r/Arrasio (meaning 50 total, comments and posts combined).
- Account age must be 1 month old minimum.
- Must be active on the arras.io subreddit (no specific quantity here, you simply have to not be inactive).
Tell us:
- Why you would make a good moderator.
- What you have contributed to arras.io and its community.
- Anything important you can bring to the table, to help potentially boost this subreddit and even the game.
We do not have a set-in-stone amount of moderators we are looking for, however we are somewhat confident we are are looking for about 5 moderators to be on the moderator team total. This leaves 3 open slots for new moderators. Again, this is not absolutely set in stone, but it is pretty likely at this point, so consider it all but solidified.

Hello everyone, I am the new moderator for this subreddit.
I wanted to let you know I am here to help out and maintain this subreddit, given it has been unmoderated for rather long.
I understand that the situation in this game is rather dire right now, and I wanted to help out in any way I could. I noticed that this subreddit was inactive and figured I could help out. So, here I am.
That said, I wanted to post some updates and important info that all of you should know.
Updates to Rules
We will soon be introducing both new rules (well just one) and amendments to current rules, which are intended to help improve the quality of this subreddit.
Amendments to Current Rules
Amendment to Rule 8:
Rule 8 states that content relating to the clone game Woomy Arras.io is banned. This rule is intended to keep focus on Arras.io itself, hence improving the quality of the subreddit.
However, given the large amount of posts regarding content related to other Arras.io clone games that has been surfacing on this subreddit, this rule will be amended to restrict content on all other clone games, and also Diep.io for the same reason.
I understand why you all are sharing clones, as the fate of this game is uncertain. However, this subreddit is for Arras.io, and only for Arras.io. To ensure that this subreddit remains quality, Rule 8 will be expanded to all clones instead of just Woomy.
Amendment to Rule 9:
Rule 9 dictates that a "high score" post must have scores exceed a minimum of 300k score. This value will now be increased to 750k score. This is the save score minimum for arras.io, which is why the minimum high score requirement is being brought to this value.
New Rule
Rule 10: In-Game Ban Content
If you have been banned in-game, it is now prohibited to make a post about it to this subreddit. Unfortunately, though I wish I could help, I cannot. No one except for the developers, who are seemingly absent, can unban people. To reduce the amount of content regarding bans flooding the server, this content will be removed. Also, on a sidenote, please do not make requests for help in the official discord server either. The staff there can unfortunately not help either.

At some point in the near future, an official update regarding the situation of Arras.io ingame will be posted, and pinned to this subreddit. This will help redditors who are stopping by know what is going on.
Moderators
I am undecided about how I am going to handle moderators yet. This will be decided relatively soon, and an update post will be made to this subreddit to inform you all of such.

If you are being banned, there is NOTHING that can be done about it unfortunately. The developers are absent and gamemods lack unban perms. Thank you for understanding.
