Just out of curiosity, do priests generally have a preference for the size of parish they’re assigned to?

I’d imagine larger parishes can come with more internal politics and administrative headaches, while smaller parishes may struggle more with resources, staffing, and finances.

Is one generally considered more desirable than the other, or does it mostly come down to the individual priest?
