Wow. Just wow. The map is certainly beautiful. It actually feels like a Sonic game. Not just an inspired Green Hill Zone map, but actually a 3D and beautiful GHZ. Can't wait to see it in game. The map MAY look big but killers will not lose survivors easily (According to Hiro). And if you have any criticism, you can DM Hiro or Husker on Discord!

This feels sooooo good and I can't just WAIT to actually play it. However, this brings up a question. How will hitboxes and attacks work here? The characters in this game are fast as hell for an ASYM, which is really cool, but I worry that hitboxes might be a challenge for developers in terms of making it balanced. An idea that has stumbled would be for the hitboxes to be increased as your speed rises. That way the game would reward killers for maintaining high speeds and won't be constantly massive hitboxes. What do YOU think?

An Art contest!

(If you are not an artist, worry not! You can still participate in the contest. Read until the end!)

The theme is simple, but the making process might not be. The participants will be drawing new banners and icon.

Both the banner and the icon will have the following dimensions:

Banner: At least 1080x128px

Icon: At least 300x300px

The deadline will be on August 22nd, 2026 at 23:59 UTC, so you have plenty of time!

Prizes

There will be two winners:

Each winner shall receive:

1. A custom and exclusive role in the Fractured Genesis subreddit
2. Credit for their artwork on a social media of their choice!

Rules

The rules are also very simple and fair:

0. The artwork must be related to Fractured Genesis.

I don't know if it's necessary to specify, but better safe than sorry!

1. No AI.

Do I really need to explain why not?

2. No Tracing

By tracing an art you'd be functionally stealing it. Not to mention it beats the point of creativity and showing your own skills (if it's just like, a hand that you aren't managing to draw properly, it won't count as tracing. We are not that evil haha).

3. No NSFW

Of course, no Not Safe For Work content will be allowed. This should be obvious considering it's in the subreddit's rules.

4. No low-effort submissions

Submissions will be judged by the mod team based on quality, creativity, effort, composition and how it represents the Fractured Genesis project.

5. Submissions should be visually compatible with the established art direction and atmosphere of Fractured Genesis.

Artists are encouraged to incorporate elements of the game's original visual style, themes, characters, and overall identity while still bringing their own artistic style and creativity to the piece.

6. No reposting previous artworks.

The artwork used for the contest must be drawn after this announcement

All artists must present their work with the sketches and inspirations (optional, but helps).

"But I'm not an Artist. Can I still participate?" Yes!

Artist Referral

If you personally invited an artist who participates in the contest and wins, you may be eligible for a unique custom role. To qualify, you must contact the moderation team and provide proof that you invited the winning artist before their submission was made. Only one person can claim the referral reward per winning artist.

ATTENTION: The user claiming the referral reward must have actually invited the artist before they submitted their artwork and proof will be requested.

You don't need to create both the icon and the banner. You can do one (Icon or Banner) or both (Icon and Banner)!

Yeah, basically, the owner of the current r/StarrNovaSimps discord server is "Amorius", who is an ex-member of the r/MelodieSimps discord server. He was previously banned for many reasons, some of them being harassment towards new members, homophobia, constantly breaking rules, posting NSFW, harassing many other members overall, and finally, the cherry on top, Janet NSFW, which we all know, is a minor, in a COMMUNITY server. He has admitted many times that he ships for Janet AND even mentioned that if you wanted to see Bonnie it was okay if you "imagined her as an 18yo". The entirety of the discord server isn't revolving on Starr Nova AT ALL, it's all some very disgusting stuff. Not all the time but mostly. I was a friend of his actually. I tried helping him out a LOT of times, no matter how hard he messed up. All his friends did in fact. But his ego is just too strong to change at all. He admits this as well. Despite everything, I won't call him names, I won't say to do anything to him. I really worry for his future considering his current mindset. I may be harsh and hotheaded as the screenshots show of me using many nuclear options for arguments, but the points itself stand.

I'm doing this because I want this community to have a better place to express their love for Starr Nova. Not due to hate, revenge. Not at all. Even before that happened, I've decided to make my Own server for Starr Nova Simps. One that prioritizes the community, not someone's personal desires and one that just acts as a stand for the owner to tell how "great he is".
