So I was really into Beyblade when I was in elementary and middle school. I started when the metal series was a thing, but I didn’t really have a lot of friends who were into it so I never played with them so I lost interest. In middle school however, I found out about burst and bought a hasbro wild Wyvern and showed it to one of my friends who later got the hasbro ragnarok eventually this spread to my friends and we started an official Beyblade club at our middle school and played during and after school.

Around the time Cho z rolled around though we had been getting more negative attention around school cause at that point we were in 8th grade so around 13-14 and it just was seen as “uncool” and we all kinda got bullied out of it. Even though I wasn’t playing or really paying attention I was kind of aware of what was going on Beyblade wise up until sparking before I totally stoped paying attention.

I’m in college now and recently I’ve been trying to pick up so old hobbies from when I was younger(I recently got my 3ds out of storage and started playing Pokemon which I never really aged out of), and Beyblade came to mind cause now that I’m older I have the perspective of who cares what I like.

I was planning on buying some of the metal series Beyblade that I didn’t have as a kid cause I had nobody to play with, and some of the nostalgic burst series stuff maybe looking at the newer stuff but from what I can tell burst got more and more gimmicky and complicated as time went on so I’m not too sure though the sparking launchers look sick.

Now onto the main reason I’m making this post. I was curious about getting into Beyblade X as it’s the current series and from what I’ve heard is more strategic/skill based than the past series (I’ve been told it’s more like the anime) and in general more geared towards older fans too. Knowing all that I tried to get into it but it confuses me a lot, and I’m just really confused on what is going on, I feel like maybe u should just buy some and maybe getting a hand on experience would help, but still the whole system of Beyblade x confuses me. So I was wondering why some advice to get started was? I heard that hasbro and Takara Tomy Beyblade an are actually the same quality now, aside from tt still having the better launchers (which I actually liked the way burst launchers looked more) I’m not sure how true that is though so I figured I’d ask about that too.

If there’s any videos or threads I could read to help me get started with Beyblade X let me know, and if there’s any burst stuff I should know about after Cho z feel free to leave a comment too.
