Pull through or start over?

Hi everyone!

I plan to grow outdoors in big pots/compost, which has worked well for me in recent years without any major problems.

This year, however, I started a little earlier (mid April instead of mid May), as the weather was already pretty warm and sunny... But then May screwed me over. There was barely any sun for the past two weeks, with max temps of 12°C/54°F and almost constant rain, so I had to keep them indoors on the windowsill for the most part.

They are now a little over five weeks old. They also seem to suffer from a slight N surplus, but otherwise look healthy and are growing new nodes slowly but steadily.

Still, I'm a little concerned they might retain their compact growth pattern. They have about the same number of nodes as last year's plants did after the same period, but appear proportionally shrunk down. That's what's irritating me way more than their overall size.

I've never had this particular set of circumstances before. Will they come around now that the weather is finally getting better, or should I start over?
