Found in bed storage compartment - Italy - ~3mm - red-brown oval bug, please help identify!
Hi everyone, I found this small insect inside the storage compartment underneath my bed (the lift-up base where I keep blankets, pillows and bags).
Location: Italy
Size: approximately 3mm
Color: dark red/brown
Shape: oval, flat
Found: 1 specimen only (so far)
It appeared dead when I captured it
Found on the mesh/net fabric of a storage bag inside the bed compartment

Has anyone seen something similar? Any help would be greatly appreciated, I want to act fast if it's what I think it is.
Do I need to worry?
