Checking if anyone has had the same experience:

Story:
I was recently diagnosed with adenomyosis. About a month after the diagnosis, I started developing comedonal acne. I had it checked by a dermatologist, but the topical routine hasn’t been very effective—some areas improve, then the acne comes back.

Now I’m wondering if this could be due to hormonal changes. I’m aware that some types of acne are hormone-related, but I’m not sure if comedonal acne falls into that category.

Has anyone experienced something similar? If yes, did the hormonal pills prescribed by your OB help?
