I had my appendix removed 3 days ago and this site has turned into a complete bruise that’s warm to the touch. I can’t sit up or sit down without needing help from someone else while screaming in pain. I can’t go to the bathroom alone or even wipe my own behind. My husband had to shower me while i sat on a metal chair the entire time. I was running a low grade fever earlier as well, I’m also dizzy, fatigue and shaky… is this normal or do i need to go back to the hospital?
Please help i’m in the worst pain i’ve ever felt, i can’t do anything without screaming in pain because it feels like my insides are twisting!!
I’ve been icing the bruise and having a heating pad on my back and shoulders to help with the pain from the gas they pumped in me during surgery.
Medication they prescribed me:
•Oxycontin
•Ibuprofen
•Stool softener less
