I recently received an invite to play McKinsey Solve ahead of McKinsey Early Access, but I’m debating whether or not to do the assessment. I only have a couple days to take it, and I’m worried that if I don’t “pass,” I’ll basically be blacklisted before I even get to campus since you can only take the assessment once per year.

I’ve been looking through YouTube videos, Reddit posts, etc., but with only a few days to take it I’m still feeling a bit unprepared. Curious if anybody has thoughts or experience with this. Is it worth taking to participate in the pre-MBA programs? Maybe they’re a bit more lenient on scoring since it’s not for an actual role?

Would appreciate any thoughts, as I’m sure others are in a similar boat.
