children's book about caterpillar that never got to turn into a butterfly

when i was younger (this is around 2012-2015) my mother would read library books to me, there was this one book we got that i remember vividly and it was about a caterpillar who was so excited to turn into a caterpillar but it died at the end of the book, i remember being super upset but i really really want to reread it just to see if it's as bad as i remember but for the life of me i can't remember the title!! help!

okay so i bought this camera second hand a few months ago and i thought that id test it out, so i put a tape in and started charging it up but instead of showing what im pointing it at it's only showing blue, no matter what setting. i've tried resetting it but im still not sure what the issue is edit: just thought i should add that the tape i inserted it a brand new TDK tape from amazon, the camera came with a used fujifilm tape and the display is blue with both of them
