Mental Health Service over summer break
Hey everyone,
Over the last semester, I noticed that a lot of students seem to be struggling with their mental health. I’m currently an international student from Europe interning at a counseling practice in town, and it made me curious about how useful and accessible the student mental health services here actually are.
For a school project, I’m working on developing a program that could better support students’ mental health, so I would really appreciate your input.
If you’ve used student mental health services before:
- Were they helpful? Why or why not?
- What did you feel was missing?
And in general:
- What do students struggle with the most?
- What keeps people from reaching out for help?
- What would make support feel more approachable or useful?
Feel free to comment or DM me if you’d rather talk privately.
And seriously, if you’re not doing well, please speak up. You don’t have to deal with everything alone.
Thank you so much in advance :)
