Confused between career and another GATE attempt
I started preparing for GATE CSE in August 2025. In my first attempt, I scored 17 marks. After that, I prepared again for the next year by watching PW lectures and solving PYQs. However, I was not able to complete all the subjects on time, and consistency became my biggest problem also the oncampus placement session also distracted me . Because of all these reasons, I scored only 21 marks in GATE CSE 2026.
I graduated in May, in feb after giving gate i again felt motivated and restarted my preparation. I completed the PYQs of Computer Networks and Theory of Computation. But in April, I got an internship opportunity at a startup company with a stipend of around ₹10k+ amount
Now I feel confused about what I should do in the future. For the last 15 days, I have done nothing except try to figure things out. But unfortunately, I am still not able to decide what my next step should be.
