Hello, I’m looking into potentially retiring in Thailand and Chiang Mai is at the top of my list for cities. I can find endless amounts of stories and information on how cheap it is, but if I’m moving there for retirement I want to know how I can actually upgrade my life for more out there. Monthly, I’ll be bringing in a little over 6k USD. Which I know it’s more than enough to live there but how well can I actually live is what I’m looking for. I don’t go out to party maybe once or twice a month, my plan in retirement is to train muay thai, workout and eat as well as I can.
