I’m at a loss of how to functionally or aesthetically utilize this space. It’s a big empty space beneath our deck, and right now it’s just sand from the previous owners. I always pull the weeds out in the spring but otherwise have no idea what to do with it. I don’t really want to just fill it with flowers because of how awkward of a space it is. I thought about bordering it with plants (i‘m in zone 6a), but don’t know what I’d do with all the empty space behind the bordered plants. I also thought about just filling it with some kind of gravel but I already have rock filler behind it, I don’t really want TWO full things of rocks. I thought about a trellis or some kind of storage unit?
I don’t want anything that’s going to be a huge overhaul, I’m not particularly handy and am not looking for an expensive project. Just an easy weekend project to make this space less of an eyesore. help meeee
