I’m planning a home renovation with a budget of 1M–1.5M. The scope of work includes renovating two bathrooms and removing a wall between the garage and living area to create a more spacious layout. We currently have two bedrooms that won’t require renovation, but I plan to convert the laundry room into an additional bedroom. The project will also involve replacing the flooring throughout the home, covering approximately 100 square meters. You think our budget is enough.

Can a contractor provide a quote without a formal plan or blueprint? I’m asking because I don’t want them to spend a lot of time creating detailed plans if I might not move forward with them due to a high quote.
