I had a couple questions about the Trek Fuel EX 8 and Slash 8 (gen six for both). I’m looking at getting my first new bike in almost 10 years and what will probably be my bike in perpetuity going forward. I currently have a 2016 Kona process and find it undergunned for the riding I do. I ride Sugarloaf Bike Park in Maine often enough, as well as highland bike park and some shuttle laps, but mid week I usually ride pedal up trails. I have ridden a trek slash gen 4 at bogus basin bike park in Idaho and loved it but worry that the new slash, especially in the mullet configuration would be too much of a pain going uphill. Obviously you don’t know me or my riding but if you were going to pick a bike between the slash and the fuel to be a one quiver bike which would it be? Thanks for any advice!
