No, this was not a one-off thing or accident. They did this to me twice very deliberately (I was Knuckles) and used Burst + Laser more than standalone Burst.

Yes it’s scenic but why the FUCK does it require you to jump twice onto a platform with finicky ledges (which often also require you to walk to the back of the Master Emerald) when most Survivors in this game have a semi-lengthy jump cooldown?

These factors make trying to escape through it extremely risky if the coast isn’t completely clear, especially because most Executioners can clear the jump onto the Emerald very easily and because the finickiness of the collision make you prone to screwing up due to nerves.

It allows Executioners like Kolossos to be such effective bodyguards because you can literally only get past them if you hit them with a lengthy stun close to it due to the jump cooldown.
