Hey all, I transplanted a tulip tree from the woods to my front yard the middle of fall. Halfway through the spring, I have leaves on it but only about 6 to 8 in off of the ground.

I'm assuming that the upper branches are dead as they do not have active buds or leaves on them.

What should my action be to give this tree the best chance of survival?
