Team has nothing to do but Directors keep telling everyone that the team is swamped and has high workload and operational needs and rejecting leave requests?
In a team that doesnt have anything to do. been in the team for many years now and it hasn’t changed but the Director keeps trying to say that the team is swamped and rejecting everyone’s leave requests and is not following policies just to keep people in seats. This is an inperson in office role and everyone can see what everyone else is doing. The team largely spends their day gossiping, getting coffee and snacks. SES have been spoken to and have backed their behavior.
