MBA vs MS&E when BS in CS & 4yoe in Faang

Hi y'all,

I’m considering applying for the stanford MBA and Management in science and engineering (MS&E). I got a B.S in Computer Science and have been working at faang companies as an engineer for 4 years.

I’m considering one of these programs at stanford because

  1. Network. Interested in meeting awesome people in the world
  2. Being able to go back to school and have (somewhat?) great classes.
  3. Not interested in VC or Start-up. Only interested in tech leadership.
  4. Interested in knowing which program have better employment result in tech after
  5. Name value. I went to a state school and don’t have an ivy degree

I'm not interested in career switch or going into VC/start-up. Interested in MBA/MS&E is because of networking & being able to learn different stuffs & being able to go to school again. Money is not an issue here, but time commitment and impact to career development is a serious concern.

Any thoughts or advice? Seeking especially from those who had to make a choice or those who attended. Really appreciate it!
