this has been one of my favorite cooking hacks to prevents hours of soaking then scrubbing pans especially if you only have a few pots and pans or limited water.

it does take a bit longer for the heat to transfer to the aluminum foil lining the foil as close to the pan and it works like a charm no long clean up time
