I hope you’re all doing well. I applied for naturalization in Kassel on April 30, 2024, and didn’t hear anything for four to five months. Then, in September 2024, the Kassel Citizens’ Office informed me that my documents had been received by the Kassel Regional Office.
Either they were just about to start processing my application or had already begun, but then I moved to Frankfurt in March, and my documents were forwarded here (Darmstadt Citizens’ Office). My case worker was changed, and I was assigned a new one. A month ago, he sent me a letter asking me to submit my pension insurance history and to transfer the 255 euros by the end of this month. I already submitted both at the beginning of April.
Do you have any experience with how long it takes in Hesse after that? It’s been almost two years since I submitted my application 🙄. I think the decision should come soon after I make the payment, though?
