Ohio specific tax question

I homeschool in Ohio and we have a $250 per student educational expenses tax credit. This will be my first school year purchasing curriculum (we were in a hybrid the past two years so we couldn’t claim the credit) and I am wondering how this works with going to a used curriculum sale since there likely wouldn’t be a receipt. Some things I will be buying new but I got a few things ($10 worth) at a small local sale and I didn’t get a receipt. There’s another one coming up I’d like to go to. I really like to buy books used in general so I’m just wondering if anyone has any experience with this or do I absolutely have to buy new to submit for the credit. Thanks in advance!

So I was given some older versions of Sonlight HBL. I have the 2020 K which is Exploring American History which Sonlight recommends for K-2nd grade. I also have the 2016 version of A which is Intro to World Cultures. I know they rearranged some versions and I think that’s where I am getting mixed up but I am trying to determine what to use this year vs next year. We have not done Sonlight before but I think it will work for us in looking through it. This fall I will have a Kindergartener and a 2nd grader. My oldest has done US History briefly this past year and in K. When I spoke to Sonlight they said a 3ish year grade gap would be fine in doing the same level together. Because of the history cycle they have with the current levels on their website, should I do the A World Cultures that I have this year and then do the American History next year (for 1st and 3rd)? I was going to do the opposite but then realized that on the website it’s K-World Cultures, then A-US history, then B & C World then back to American D & E. I’m probably over thinking it but just would like some advice. I hope this makes sense
