Couldn’t add an image on the other post talking about the Licensing Expo so decided to make a post. It seems like they really want to focus on the original series for the anniversary instead of the overall franchise.
I think I see a Preyas and a Dual Hydranoid but I’m not sure if all these Bakugan are worth buying for £70.
I want to say first that criticism is okay but some fans in this sub really don’t know what they want or how to criticise the original series without sounding hypocritical.
They hate that they don’t bring Hydranoid and other original Bakugan back for the third and fourth seasons but complain that Drago is in all four seasons and is the strongest. I can imagine if they did bring back Hydranoid each season that this sub would call him boring too.
Alice is my favourite character alongside Masquerade but they had the best development in seasons 1 and 2 as Alice was able to accept that Masquerade will always be a part of her without needing to turn into him. They don’t need to come back in later seasons as their story was complete.
Wanting every character in the first season to win their fights in season 2 even if it doesn’t make sense in the story. I love Alice and it was great seeing her win against Hades but her losing the overall battle isn’t bad. Hydranoid was captured before the second season even happened by the Vexos and was even tortured before being turned into a statue. That can suggest that he lost his strength which would support him losing the battle against Shadow.
Wanting characters to be replaced with characters that are favourites shouldn’t be a criticism of the show. Everyone has characters that they love but it doesn’t mean the show is bad just because they don’t appear anymore. Klaus is one of my favourites but it doesn’t mean I now think seasons 3 and 4 are bad because he doesn’t appear. It just means that their story was complete.
I love this community, especially when it comes to keeping Bakugan alive but sometimes it has problems and I needed to write about it.
