Okay weird questions?

I have sciatica. And rather than paying something like 150 bucks on a piece of wood coated in quilt batting and fabric to put on my bed to sleep on, i decided to buy an 8' long by 4' wide at 23/32" of thick piece of pressure treated pine plywood cut to twice the size of the 150 dollar option i was able to find. (This is taking up the majority of the surface on my bed. I am aware.)

I chose what i chose because i needed it to be thick enough so not to bend with my weight on the bed. My bed's not bad, it is a damn good bed but american mattress companies think "the firmest imaginable" is pliable and dont tend to use masonry or hardwood flooring with a patchwork quilt as the mattress which isnt too far off from what i was looking for when i got the mattress a few years ago.

I developed my issue from the mattress before the one i have now. And i knew then that anything shy of concrete slabs would cause the condition to worsen over time. Well time has progressed and it has worsened and here we are.

Sorry about this, i tend to over explain. but all this to say that i bought the wood with that purpose, i didnt know that "pressure treated" meant anything until i felt the MOISTness... i

My questions are: why is it wet?

How long will it take to dry?

Will it warp as it dries? (Re: did i just waste 60 bucks)

Do i have to wait for it to dry before i can use it for my purposes?

Can i get away with using when i need it and taking it off the bed so that it can continue to dry when not on use?

Is it safe to sleep on? I mean it IS getting covered so it wont be on bare skin.

Is it safe to breathe in? I will be huffing the wood all night. It smells amazing. But is the treatment safe for prolonged deep inhalation over the period of 8 hours?

I wasnt looking for "pressure treated" or "not" pressure treated when i looked it up and bought it. I just thought that plywood was just plywood. I was looking for the thickness and the size of the wood. I figured the treatment was something about the construction or manufacturing of the wood. I never thought this would be an issue.

The piece im sleeping on now is a 12×24 bit of scrap from another project some years ago and while it has relieved pain, (i can sit right up and get out of bed without my hip screaming at me. Wood. Who knew?) i have to fight with it to get it in the right spot on the bed to be comfortable, I have to be careful not to roll over at night or i roll off it, and i have to make sure that, when i inevitably shift in my sleep, the corner isn digging in at an uncomfortable location.

I already bought the wood. Its cut and in my apartment for use. But i didnt know the other stuff. So am i safe to proceed? Should i wait? I just wanted to staple some stuffing and an old sheet to this and literally call it a night now im road blocked.

I dont know where else to ask this. i figure the people to know best would be the people who work with the wood on a regular basis.

Tl;dr. Did i just waste 60 bucks for this or is it safe to proceed with making a back support sleep board with the damp pressure treated wood that i have?

Thanks in advance.
